I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I currently live in Kings Beach, CA during the summer months, and southern Spain during the winter months. I am a self taught artist, specializing in custom pet portraits. 

 

I have always been an avid animal lover and I started drawing my family member's dogs as gifts. I saw the joy that these gifts were bringing to their owners and I sought to pursue more work. Painting pet portraits has turned in to more than I could have ever dreamed up. Creating keepsakes for people and their loved ones is such gift!
I have expanded beyond pencil, to include watercolor and now acrylic. I hope to continue exploring different media. I am always looking for new inspiration, ideas, and suggestions.

I believe deeply in the connection between pets and their owners. It has been an honor to paint so many loved ones.
